The queue for Rise of the Resistance takes you through a Resistance base hidden in the forests of Batuu. The detailed theming includes hidden corridors, control rooms, and briefing areas, setting the stage for your mission. The queue culminates in a pre-show that launches you right into the ride.

Accessibility

Rise of the Resistance is accessible to guests who use wheelchairs or scooters. Transfer from a wheelchair is required to board the ride vehicle.

On-Ride Photo

There is no on-ride photo available, however there are plenty of great photo opportunities throughout. Lots of people try and take pictures once onboard the ship, so Cast Members will likely be on hand to move the crowd along.

Ride Tips

The ride is one of the most sought-after attractions in all of Disney World and is only available through standby or a paid Lightning Lane. If this is a must-do for you, either head there right at rope drop or consider paying for a Lightning Lane to guarantee a spot.

Will Rise of the Resistance Cause Motion Sickness?

The ride features a mix of motion simulation and dark ride elements, which can cause motion sickness for some guests. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider wearing a motion sickness bracelet or taking an over-the-counter nausea remedy. It’s a fairly smooth ride, and the motion simulator is quick, but still worth considering if you’re especially sensitive.
